This Is America
This Is America is a group exhibition presented during Milan Design Week, co-curated by ADITIONS and Hello Human, and powered by CANOA. The project brings together a range of designers across disciplines, creating a platform to present diverse perspectives within contemporary American design.
The exhibition examines the idea of “American design” as both a label and a cultural construct. It questions how identity, authorship, and representation shape the way design is defined and understood globally. By bringing together voices from different backgrounds and experiences, the project seeks to expand and reframe existing narratives around who defines American design and what it represents today.
